The Paul Leeder Project – Community Support Initiative

April 21, 2026

Ongoing

Screven County Area

The Paul Leeder Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping anyone in need — not just the homeless — regardless of circumstances. If they can't help directly, they work to connect people with those who can. Founded after witnessing a homeless couple walking in the cold rain, the organization was built on the belief that communities must come together to lift up those who are struggling. It is named in honor of Mr. Paul Leeder, known as the most generous person Screven County has ever known. Since its founding, the Paul Leeder Project has helped several hundred people and continues to grow. Like all non-profits, they rely on the generosity of the community — every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. For more information on how you can help, please contact us at paulleederproject@gmail.com or find us online at facebook.com/paulleederproject. Leadership: • Kathryn Counts – Chairwoman, Board of Directors • Sandy Powell – Vice-Chair • Ben Counts – Board Member "We believe that a better tomorrow starts today. Without your support, the Paul Leeder Project would cease to exist. Thank you."
